N.V. Duc De Chagny Grande Réserve Blanc de Blancs Brut, Limoux, France
100% Chardonnay. Elegant, lithe and sometimes even a bit austere, this special and subtle wine is particularly well suited to pairing with food. Called ‘blanc de blancs’, meaning ‘white of whites’, these are Champagnes made exclusively from white grapes. 7
2020 Marco Bonfante Moscato D’Asti D.O.C.G, Piedmont, Italy
100% Moscato. In the glass the Moscato shows an intense straw yellow. The perlage is fine and elegant. On the nose it is fruity, intense and very persistent. The sweet and aromatic taste and the balance between the low alcohol content and acidity, never too high, give this wine a pleasant freshness. 7
2020 Marco Bonfante Malvasia di Castelnuovo Don Bosco Sweet Red, Piedmont, Italy
100% Malvasia Nera. Malvasia refers to a group of wines that are produced around the world with a majority being crafted in Italy, Croatia, the Iberian Peninsula, and Slovenia. The grapes in this family include malvasia bianca, malvasia negra, and malvasia nera. It is frequently regarded as a dessert wine. 7
Whites
2020 Joliesse Vineyards, Chardonnay, Sonoma, California
100% Chardonnay. This wine is an exquisitely balanced and crisp Chardonnay primarily fermented in stainless steel tanks, with a small number of French oak barrels to impart an elegant structure. On the nose, you are greeted by the aromatics of white flowers, light citrus, and tropical notes. On the palate, you continue to explore citrus notes, along with a light minerality, vanilla, and honeysuckle. With a wonderfully crisp mouthfeel and nicely balanced acidity, the California Chardonnay culminates with a smooth finish. 7
N.V. Corte alle Mine, Sangiovese, Sicily, Italy
100% Sangiovese. Crisp and intense aromas of fragrant raspberries and peaches with flavors of tangerine zest, watermelon, a hint of sweet white flowers. 7
2020 Kiki & Juan Vino Blanco, Requena, Spain
90% Macabeo, 10% Sauvignon Blanc, organic. Granny smith apple Bartlett pear jump from the glass, followed by layers of green fig and chamomile. There’s a noticeable honeydew melon aroma coming through likely due to the Sauvignon Blanc skin contact. Crisp and dry on the medium bodied palate. 7
2020 Domaine Guillaman, Colombard/Sauvignon Blanc, Cotes de Gascogne, France
80% Colombard, 20% Sauvignon Blanc. Currently run by the sixth generation, this estate brings out the natural freshness of the region’s climate and terroir. In this attractive wine, bright white and yellow fruits harmonize with the lively acidity. 7
Reds
2019 Sieur D’Arques ‘Cuvee Lacustre’, Pinot Noir, Pays D’Oc
100% Pinot Noir. Fresh, aromatic and full of cherry fruit flavors. Complex and a depth of flavor resulting from vines grown in high altitudes and chalky clay soils. 7
2019 Maison Francaise Reserve M, Malbec, Pays D’Oc
100% Malbec. Wonderful bouquet of violets and spices, followed by wonderful flavors of a full-bodied and velvety red wine. 7
2020 LangeTwins Family Winery and Vineyard, Sand Point, Cabernet Sauvignon, California
100% Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is bold and flavorsome with aromas and flavors of fresh dark cherry and ripe raspberry. You’ll enjoy a juicy mouthfeel balanced by soft spice notes from oak aging. 7
2020 Sogrape Silk & Spice, Red Blend, Portugal
40% Touriga Nacional, 20% Baga, 20% Syrah & 20% Alicante Bouschet. Aromas of ripe red fruit combined with hints of vanilla, mocha and spices. A balanced taste, with very soft tannins and a long and persistent finish. 7
